Stop 36 of the 52 Week Tour of La Grange Restaurants and Food Establishments at Aodake Ramen

Happy New Year everyone! Aodake Ramen was Stop 36 on our 52 week tour of La Grange restaurants and food establishments. our group was a bit smaller this week, but made up for it with their adventurous food choices, as we were joined by Phil Fulton, Bob Vear, newcomer Anna Wagler, Karen Lynch, newcomer Bill Kopp, newcomer Philip Wagler, Bill Carney and Joan Smothers.

Newcomers Bill Kopp and Philip Wagler insisted that we try some things that I certainly would not have gone for without them. The takoyaki and spicy squid salad were fantastic. My favorite thing to hear on the tour is when someone says that they are planning on coming back to the restaurant after the meal.

I love having such a wide variety of restaurants in La Grange. It is important to support them so that they can continue to grow and thrive.

We’re going back to Wednesdays after the Friday switch for the holidays. We making a second pass at Casa Margarita this Wednesday, January 8th at noon for lunch. Hope to see you there!
