Aracely’s Bakery was Stop 29 on our 52 week tour of La Grange restaurants and food establishments.
It was a newcomer-heavy group this week, as we were joined by new arrivals Janet Garreau, Ignacio Mendoza and Renata Suerth. Mike McNamara, Bill Carney, John Price, Jim Walls, Karen Lynch and Sarah Parkes also accompanied us as veterans of the tour.
Everyone ordered the tamales, and I was finally taught how to eat one properly by the group. The meal was great and the desserts were delicious.
John Price brought his own salsa for tasting. It was delicious, but John conveniently forgot tell us that one of the seven peppers he uses to make the salsa is the infamous ghost pepper. Hot…
