Stop 20 of the 52 Week Tour of La Grange Restaurants and Food Establishments at Empanadus

Empanadus was Stop 20 on our 52 week tour of La Grange restaurants and food establishments.
This week we were joined by Jim Walls, Kathy Dierkes, Lori Donahoe, newcomer John Price, Karen Lynch, Mark Ptacek, Nancy Cummings, Ryan Williamson and Bill Carney.
We ordered everything on the menu to share, and it was all delicious. The vegan alternatives were a highlight for many. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Jim Walls refused to share his bacon empanadas with us so we had to order extra. The bottled orange Fanta was definitely the right call too.
A few members of the group were first-timers at Empanadus. They were all pleasantly surprised.
Next week, we’re shaking it up a bit and pre-ordering Sammy’s Deli sandwiches, meeting there to pick them up, and then having a picnic at Kiwanis Park on La Grange Road. There may even be a game of bags. We hope to see you there!
