Stop 18 of the 52 Week Tour of La Grange Restaurants and Food Establishments at Cafe Calbay

Cafe Calbay was Stop 18 on our 52 week tour of La Grange restaurants and food establishments.

We had a wonderful lunch with Nikki Zimmermann, Phil Fulton, Jim Walls, Charity Jones, Tom Levato, Joe Kroc, owner Kim Calbay, Seda Calbay, Steve Jasinski, Karen Lynch, Joan Smothers, Nancy Cummings, Ryan Williamson and Don Gay.

The group was evenly split between breakfast and lunch. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals. Steve Jasinski proudly drank from his permanent coffee cup that is stationed at the restaurant. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Ryan Williamson accused me of being emotional. I’m not sure that’s ever happened before.

A few members of the group mentioned that it was their first time at Cafe Calbay, and they all said that it wouldn’t be their last. Cafe Calbay definitely has a following in our community.
