Stop 14 of the 52 Week Tour of La Grange Restaurants and Food Establishments at Palmer Place Restaurant and Biergarten

Palmer Place Restaurant and Biergarten was Stop 14 on our 52 week tour of La Grange restaurants and food establishments.

We had a delightful lunch with Phil Fulton, Bill Carney, Michael Zaura, Ryan Williamson, Jim Walls, newcomers Ryan Horvath and Chris Finn, owner Steve Palmer, and first-timer Dean Bissias.

Steve kindly donated some wonderful appetizers to our table. I got the tuna club without the middle bread (highly recommended that way). I also had a delicious blueberry lemonade with Steve. I am loving this midday cocktail trend. Very European.

I was very glad to see that our Park District of La Grange friends Chris and Dean were able to join us. It was great to see them before the hard work starts with the Endless Summerfest La Grange (August 2nd-4th) sponsored by the Park District and the La Grange Business Association.

I’ve been noticing a lack of female representation on our tour. I’m hoping for more participation at our next event at WOOW Sushi on August 7th at noon.
