Nicksons Eatery was Stop 13 on our 52 week tour of La Grange restaurants and food establishments.

It was another wonderful Wednesday afternoon, this time with Lori Donahoe, Joan Smothers, owner Carson Baca, Jim Walls, Phil Fulton and Bill Carney.

I tried the Crispy Eggplant Pomodoro sandwich, which is new to the menu, and I’ll definitely be having it again. Jim Walls wanted to try something new but said the Texas Brisket Tacos are too hard to pass up. He was not disappointed.

Carson kindly provided us with a delightful key-lime pie and warm cookie and ice cream combo dessert for free. Thank you to Carson and the Nicksons Eatery staff for the fantastic food and service!

I also just found out that Nicksons has an event room that fits up to 70 people. Pretty cool. https://www.nicksonseatery.com/copy-of-events

We are really enjoying this tour. New people are meeting each other for the first time and we get to have lunch at our favorite community places together.

Next week, we’ll be at Palmer Place on Wednesday, July 31st at noon for Stop 14 of the tour. Hope to see you there!
