Margaret Owens is a Legal Assistant in Fornaro Law’s corporate practice. She provides personable customer service and follow through with our clients.
Margaret is skilled in forming new businesses, including gaining authority to transact throughout the country, and in a range of corporate business transactions such as drafting assignments and resolutions. In addition, she has knowledge in trademark filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
She attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and has previous experience in not-for-profit association management with the Association Management Center and SmithBucklin.
She is an active volunteer in her community including serving as Secretary of the 175 East Delaware Place HOA (the John Hancock Center) and as chair of the Parish Pastoral Council of Holy Name Cathedral. Margaret has been involved with the free supper program at Chicago Catholic Charities for over twelve years and currently enjoys coordinating the First Friday supper once a month.
