Kevin Gallaher brings nearly thirty-five years of corporate legal experience to Fornaro Law Firm.  His experience includes all facets of business law from creating of legal entities to developing succession plans to enable for both the sale of businesses and the transition of businesses between family generations with an eye toward minimizing the tax implications of such transactions.  While representing these businesses, Kevin has also acquired a sophisticated understanding of the myriad issues business owners encounter from complex real estate matters to employment matters a wide range of corporate, individual and estate tax matters.

In addition, Mr. Gallaher served four terms on the Naperville City Council and has a deep understanding of the impact of Federal, state and local government decisions on the business community.  His political experience enables him to understand how to shape the political debate toward an outcome that minimizes government impact on business.

Mr. Gallaher has collaborated with several Fortune 500 companies developing pilot programs to train employees on the autism spectrum in a meaningful and inclusive way. Mr. Gallaher continually shares his passion for the inclusion and development of individuals with autism, and has done so by serving on the Board of Directors for several organizations dedicated to easing the burdens of families impacted by autism, including as President of Turning Pointe Autism Foundation, and as a member of the Board for the Autism Society of Illinois.

Mr. Gallaher has also served on the Board of Directors of numerous not-for-profit organizations.  Most notably, he served as President of Naperville Responds, an organization that raised funds to assist twenty needy families to rebuild their homes in Pass Christian, Mississippi after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.  The Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce recognized Naperville Responds for its efforts to rebuild the community.

Mr. Gallaher earned his degree at DePaul University College of Law, and was admitted in 1988 by the Illinois and U.S. District Court of Northern Illinois. He has spent many years on the baseball diamond and basketball court coaching his three children.
