Allison is a lawyer who graduated Cum Laude from the John Marshall Law School. While at The John Marshall Law School she earned the Corpus Juris Secundum Award for Scholastic Excellence in Torts and the CALI Awards for excellent achievement in Torts and Civil Procedure. She was published in the John Marshall Law Review and won First Place National Champion and Best Brief in the Entertainment and Communications Law Moot Court Competition in New York City.
After law school Allison practiced civil litigation at various litigation firms in Chicago for four years before electing to stay at home to raise her three children. Born and raised in LaGrange, Allison kept active volunteering at her children’s school, helping to raise money for local charities and being a member of various boards in the community. She spent time as an executive board member of the District 102 Delegate Assembly and as a member and board member of the Misericordia Women’s League.
