Today, we highlight Justin Hanson, a partner with nearly two decades of legal experience. Justin exemplifies our commitment to client engagement, continuous learning, and growth. 

Justin believes in engaging with clients in a way that “honors their past and helps them grow in the future.” This philosophy is central to his practice, as he navigates complex legal issues respecting each client’s history and creating a vision for their continued success.

Whether handling litigation and advocacy, commercial matters, or dispute resolution, Justin is known for his willingness to “dig in and get his hands dirty if he has to.” His hands-on approach ensures that every case is meticulously managed, with a focus on understanding the unique needs and circumstances of each client. 

Constant communication is a cornerstone of Justin’s client engagement strategy. He believes in keeping the lines of communication open, ensuring that both the team and clients are always informed and involved in the process. This transparency builds trust and fosters a collaborative environment where clients feel empowered and confident in the decisions being made on their behalf.

Justin’s professional journey includes notable roles such as Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney and policy advisor to members of the U.S. House of Representatives. He has represented a diverse range of clients across various jurisdictions, successfully resolving disputes through mediation and negotiation.

In addition to his legal practice, Justin is an Adjunct Professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he shares his knowledge and experience with the next generation of legal professionals. Justin is also an active member of the community, serving on the Village’s Economic Development Commission, coaching La Grange Little League, and participating in the Chicago Bar Association’s E-Mentoring Program.
